Assistant Vice President - Finance - Real Estate

- Managing GST including planning, ensuring timely filing of returns, reconciliation with GSTR-2A and compliance with the laws within the Group on a PAN India basis.

- Supervision of team including professionals e.g. chartered accountants located over PAN India Level.

- Ensuring statutory compliances within the prescribed time as per mandatory enactments.

- Generating need based MIS /costing / other reports for purpose of submission to top management for strategic decision-making.

- Monitoring preparation of statutory books of Accounts, Bank Reconciliation, Party Reconciliation and Consolidated Reports in compliance with time & accuracy norms.

- Generating P&L accounts and annual reports; responsible for finalization & reconciliation of accounts & Balance sheet.

- Attending to Internal / Statutory / Government Audit/IFC compliances; evaluating the internal control systems with a view to highlight shortcomings & implementing recommendations made by Internal Auditors.

- Tax Planning.

- Interfacing with taxation authorities belonging to direct or indirect taxation for timely filing of Returns & representing the organization during tax assessments/ proceedings.

- Filing of Income/Service tax returns & handling of Income/Service Tax Scrutiny Cases; Appeals.

- Preparing & filing of returns, challans & other related forms for companies, firms and individual under Income Tax & GST/Service Tax Law.

- Conducting internal/ statutory/ tax / stock audits.

- Assessing results, analyzing variance and making suitable recommendations.

- Co-coordinating with Company Secretary in the Corporate Compliances.

- Review of Annual Returns of Companies & different forms to the ROC with coordination with Company Secretary.

- Taking the adequate measures for timely payments are made to/received from creditors/ debtors.

- Conducting verification of books of accounts to detect any possible fraud and ensuring that accounts prepared are both reliable & prepared in accordance with set guidelines.

- Managing and monitoring delinquent account collection and establishing terms of payment as well as handling vendor management.
