Assistant Vice President - Engineering - Software Development - FinTech

Location: New Delhi

Candidate who have experience of working with Product based companies are Preferred.

Job Description:

Role :

1. The role will demand the following while heading a team.

2. Ensuring timely and quality delivery of software.

3. Interfacing with all stakeholders product managers, technical leads/managers, engineers to understand requirements and communicate the same to the project team for implementation.

4. Aid the engineering team with architecture and all manner of technical decisions.

5. Ensure standards are followed and appropriate engineering processes applied.

6. Mitigate project risk.

7. Build a culture of engineering excellence in the team through smart hiring and mentoring.

Desired Profile:

1. 10 years min experience in core software development.

2. Hands-on experience building consumer Web/mobile apps at scale.

3. Strong exposure to open-source technology Python, Linux, SQL and NoSQL databases, Web development frameworks.

4. Strong architecture skills.

5. Ability to provide leadership to team and project with maturity.

6. Ability to interact with people effectively across functional areas.

7. Preferably a strong full-stack engineer or at least strong backend skills with some front-end skill.

8 Even minimum experience in Angular should be there
