Hiring for leading investment bank for below profile.

Profile - VP - Data management

Exp - 8+ years

- Candidates with past experience in Risk, Finance and Treasury functions within banking industry is required. 


Role: 

Data Quality : 

- Support data quality issue baselining activity in partnership with domain data stewards

- Drive DQ issue management in compliance with Group policies

- Maintain repository of measures aligned to issues impacting business areas

- Drive, monitor, track and report on status of data quality issues recorded

- Maintain catalogue of reference material to facilitate issue management

- Support monthly Data Forums and Council meetings preparations

- Escalate issues through the VP reporting line to Group Data Councils and assist in the remediation

Data Lineage :

- Maintain the Data Lineage and Process flow diagrams associated to the key Data Domains for RFT

- Identify any lineage issues, duplications or breaks in lineage, track, report and plan remediation

- Maintain RFT Service catalogue in line with CDO framework and support Data Domain activation activities for RFT

- Support the identification and creation of new Data Domains and CDE under the ownership of RFT

- Maintain Metadata Glossary for Data Domains and Critical Data Elements (CDEs)

- Support the preparation of Data Lineage workshops and Data Management Councils

- Support the activities to identify and establish Authoritative Data Source (ADS)

- Maintain the ADS information in the metadata tool

- Support the change management and annual review process attestation to ensure the artifacts are kept current

- Escalate issues through the VP reporting line to Group Data Councils and assist in the remediation

Essential Skills : 

- Bachelor's Degree (BA/BSc/BEng)

- Understanding of Risk, Finance and Treasury functions within banking industry

- Knowledge of Project Lifecycle methods (e.g. Software Development Lifecycle, Agile) and understanding of the principles and frameworks of successful project management

- Excellent MS-Office skills, including Excel, PowerPoint and Word, MS Project and Visio skills

Desirable Skills : 

- Experience in delivery and Project Management

- Experience in Risk, Finance and/or Treasury areas of corporate and/or investment banking

- Understanding relational databases, risk systems / architecture

- Experience of working with distributed teams
