Assistant Vice President - Credit - Wholesale Lending - BFS

We have been retained by our client, a large Financial group to recruit AVP Credit Wholesale Lending to based in Mumbai

Interested candidates should be CAs / MBAs with 5 - 10 years experience working as a prt of the corporate finance/ wholesale lending team with a Bank or a large NBFC

Job Description :

- Evaluation & appraisal of complex credit applications / Enterprise Valuations within specified thresholds for Wholesale Banking businesses.

- Analyzing financial statements and writing credit appraisals for customers

- Conducting an objective and thorough credit analysis of the financial condition and credit-worthiness of existing and new to bank borrowers using analysis of historical and projected financial statements, biographical data, market information, credit reports and other data and identify key transactional risks and mitigants

- Structuring credit proposals aligned with risk standards and with understanding the client's strategic and financial objectives/needs

- Strict adherence and maintenance of appropriate credit standards in the recommendation / approval and control of lending

- Participate in maintaining a stable lending portfolio within Group and Wholesale Banking policy objectives

- Ensure that the Credit Facilities are in compliance with the Credit Policy Manual/Guidelines. In exceptional circumstance where there are any deviations to the existing regulatory / credit guidelines, the same are clearly highlighted and discussed in the CRM recommendations.

- Coordinate with Senior Relationship Managers (SRMs) and Unit heads on various aspects of Credit Proposals and follow up on pending matters and issues.
