Context:  The focus of the role is to work with the head of Business Management in ensuring that the Client Operations business functions cohesively and consistently across the globe; providing a support and governance framework in order to achieve the business objectives. The Business Management function is based in Bangalore, providing support across 30+ countries.  - Global role with direct interaction across all functions within Client Ops globally  - Role requires a strong self-starter with good time-management skills who enjoys the challenge of delivery within tight deadlines.  - Structured and organized individual with project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.  - Ability to implement strategic decisions and effectively communicate it to RTB and senior stakeholders  - Ability to thrive within a constantly evolving environment  The principle role of the AVP - Business Management is  1. To lead the team in governing the delivery of the business objectives globally. This role will be heavily involved in managing governance and reporting around headcount and resource metrics and is very critical to the organisation as 70% costs are related to headcount  2. Client Operations is going through a significant transformation phase, and this role will be instrumental in supporting the governance, tracking and reporting of saves made through headcount rationalization projects  3. As a Business Management team, there are ongoing requirements in terms of administrative reporting, governance and input into the larger wide forums. This role will be responsible for ensuring all local/regional/business requirements are met from a Client Ops perspective  4. This role will have to work very closely with Global business managers within Functions and Regions across Client Ops to ensure a fully aligned model of business management is in place  5. Ensuring the right level of engagement and participation across Client Operations onshore as well as offshore  6. Manage relationships with senior stakeholders from the business  7. Maintain a strong understanding of the Client Operations business objectives as well as the wider agenda, using this knowledge to make informed contributions  8. Continuously evaluating the suitability of the data and systems used to generate the MI reports in the team, and ensuring that MI production and reporting is done in the most efficient manner - driving efficiencies in process and streamlining the way the team works  9. Ensuring accuracy, timeliness and efficiency of reports that are shared with the senior leadership  10. Understanding the business, its objectives and operating model, and ensuring that the governance framework supports the achievement of these objectives and is in line with the target operating model.  11. Network with Business Management teams across other areas to understand best practices  12. Support the Head of Business Management in developing the brand of Business Management and creating maximum visibility for the function across Client Ops  Requisite :  - Minimum 9 to 12 years of experience in a relevant industry and role  - Excellent communication - Both verbal and written   - Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to manage relationship with senior stakeholders across different geographies in virtual/global teams  - Ability to negotiate and collaborate in order to meet organizational goals  - Ability to take difficult decisions in a complex operational environment  - Strong business and commercial orientation  - Good presentation skills  - Strong analytical skills with an problem solving capability & drive solutions  - Very good prioritizing, planning and organizing skills  - Experience of working in a changing environment, and having managed change in processes/teams  - Must be well organised and able to multi-task effectively  - Ability to quickly understand the process and how it adds value to the business.  - Experience of working in a data function interfacing with Global Markets and/or Global Banking systems and processes will be useful, though not critical.  - Self-motivated and able to prioritise  - Organised and structured approach  - Strong MS Office skills, especially using PowerPoint and Excel
