Assistant Vice President - Basel Project Testing - BFSI

Title : Assistant Vice President

Project : BASEL/RWA Testing

Location : Chennai

Skill set :

- Post Graduate with 15+ years of overall of relevant work experience. Recent exposure to Big Data projects in an Agile environment will be a definite plus.

- Extensive experience of working in Test Management, Test Automation, Functional Testing Analysis, Process automation and business system process analysis within Finance and / or Controllers department(s).

- Good Functional experience in BASEL II Reporting requirements and BASEL II System teams and relating technologies.

- Knowledge of automation tools (i.e.: HP / Mercury Quick Test Pro, Quality Center), MS Excel and MS Access.

- Good Knowledge of software testing and defect management tools (Quality Center / Test Director).

- Knowledge/ Experience in Key Technology components (Moody's RiskAuthority, Hadoop, Platfora) will be preferred.

- Testing certification(s) (Certified Software Tester (CSTE), Certified Software Testing Professional (CSTP), ISTQB Certified Tester etc.)

Roles & Responsibilities :

- The role will be responsible for leading the Business Testing efforts of newly developed functionality to ensure they meet Finance requirements. The systems will be tested through Functional Testing, Regression testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

- Testing for RWA Transformation Programme will follow a risk-based, time-boxed test strategy including positive testing of new functionality and regression testing of existing functionality in an Agile environment.

- To develop positive relationships with peers, members of Finance teams (Finance Functional Leads, etc.) and IT liaisons.

- Should demonstrate a keen interest and enthusiasm to understand their Stakeholders- priorities.

- Responsible for defining & maintaining efficient communication procedure with Business Partners, IT teams and senior management.
