RESPONSIBILITIES : - Monthly Tax risk reporting and Consolidated IFRS Tax reporting - Calculation of accurate deferred and current tax position. - Forecasting IFRS effective Tax rate and balance sheet - Capital reporting - Preparation of the solvency II tax position - Country by Country reporting - Build controls and perform reconciliations to ensure the expenses match with numbers reported in Regulatory/Statutory returns. - Responsible for accounting of share based compensation under IFRS 2 - Preparation of Tax note in the Group's consolidated financial statements - Preparation and filing of direct tax returns in Onesource and supporting work papers. - Technical accounting knowledge of UK GAAP (FRS 102) and consolidation principles - To consistently identify and implement new ways to improve the quality of work - Lead the corporation tax team, delegate and review the work. REQUIREMENTS : - Chartered Accountant with 3-4 years of team handling experience. - Knowledge of Excel (includes advanced excel functions) - Understanding of UK taxation rules - IFRS / GAAP - Excellent quantitative/numeric, analytical and problem solving skills - Understanding of advanced accounting and taxation rules (including deferred tax) - Good communication and interpersonal skills. - Well-versed in OneSource.
