Assistant Manager - UK Accounting - BFS (4-6 yrs)
CA with 4-6 years of experience post Qualification. Strong accounting background || with knowledge of IFRS || stakeholder management and good communication skills
- Ensure complete and accurate posting of transactions to the general ledger and the related accounting systems.
- Month end journals for miscodes, capitalisation, depreciation, accruals and recharges
- Support the production of monthly management MI & financial accounts
- Scrutiny of expenses and investigation of variances. Collect substantive evidence to support the variance
- Support the production of relevant management reports & MI
- Analysis & report on variances to plan, forecast & prior year with relevant explanations and challenge relevant teams/cost centres
- Evaluate existing processes and improve where relevant
- Managing the workflow for the approval of invoices before being sent for payment
- Provide clarifications / information to auditors on Financial Information
- Produce information for tax and statutory reporting
