Roles & Responsibilities:

- Analyze Financial Markets Fundamentally & Technically

- Monitor and Track Market Variables, basically Macro Economic variables, its effect on Currency markets, Forecast Future Expectations about Variables, Analyze Market sentiment, Forecast Directions and Expected Ranges, Do Market Write Ups. Study Technical Formations and its variance with Fundamentals, if any, and incorporate the same in the market analysis and suggestions.

- Suggest Currency Hedging Strategy & MF investments

- Understand Currency Exposures; understand Risk, Present alternative Currency Hedging Strategies within the framework of Risk Management Policy. Suggest Changes to risk stance, if warranted, by expected market changes after analyzing sentiments, probability. Also suggest portfolio investment strategies in various liquid and short term funds.

- Execute Hedging Instructions; Monitor Existing Hedges

- Undertake hedging / Un-hedging operations on daily basis as required by the Currency Flows within the frame work of Risk Management Policy. Monitor existing Hedges and take precautions to un-hedge the same at optimal levels / roll over if not likely to be utilized. Currency and Hedging Tools as permitted by Risk Management Policy.

- Financial Risk Reporting

- To provide Platform for Risk Management Decisions. To apprise Management on Financial Reporting related to MTM, Open Exposure, FX Line in P&L.

- Exposure Collation & Reporting

- Liasoning with stakeholders for assimilation of FX Exposures entity wise, collating it at Group Level, Computing Currency wise Net Exposure Position, Working Hedge Ratios, Sending MIS to Top Management at periodic level, Sending MIS to Treasury Head on daily basis, Providing Underlying Exposures to FO and BO for hedging and reporting purposes.

-Sensitivity Analysis

- Applying Risk Parameters like Scenario Analysis, Stress Test, and VAR on Exposure Positions to do impact analysis and reporting the outcomes in structured manner to Treasury Head.

- RBI - Compliance

- To ensure all compliance for current and capital account transactions.

- System Development

- To work with Operating Departments and Units to ensure systematic Data Flow.
