Assistant Manager : Transfer Agency : Chennai : Female Candidates

Missions

- Manage Transfer Agency Registration process including team leaders and team members.

- Teams tasks include Registration (Dealer/Shareholder Setup and Maintenance) including AML/KYC checks, due diligence reviews for new client take-on,

- Coordinate the development, maintenance and control processes, procedures, checklists and checkpoints for the team.

- Ensure effective compliance and controls in own area. Ensure strict adherence to relevant procedures.

- Cross-Cover with Manager of Events (be each other's backup)

- Identify and plan the team's Training and Personal Development needs, develop staff. Conduct staff appraisals and performance plans.

- Ensure timely and accurate handling of all Registration Tasks

- Ensure Legal and Funds requirements are met, for assisting with project management activities and for developing new Transfer Agency policies and procedures.

- Sign off relevant daily verification and process validations.

- Participate in audits, Compliance and Risk sample checks

- Promote a positive attitude towards internal policies, procedures and controls.

- Act as a mentor to staff on team - delegate work as appropriate, support their training and development, monitor their performance and provide feedback to management.

- Lead the hiring process for new hires and monitoring ongoing hiring and staff development needs

- Liaise with offices in onsite operations team in Europe and local departments

Profile Strong experience in Transfer Agency or CDD/AML/KYC domain
