About the Company :

The company started in 2007 with a vision to launch and build international brands in India.

They operate their brands through many channels such as mono brand stores, shop-in-shop stores, multi-brand eCommerce and mono-brand eCommerce. Currently they run a grand total of 142 brick and mortar stores and a robust eCommerce and SIS channel.

Job Description :

- Conduct orientation sessions and arrange on-the-job training for new employees.

- Design and develop course content and initiatives on bettering store performance.

- Design, develop and govern various R&R programs

- Act as a coach and mentor for the store staff.

- Create strong and consistent brand DNA and standardization across stores.

- Act as a quality controller for the stores.

- Responsible for developing and implementing the induction process for new staff.

- Regular visits to the stores - interact and understand ground realities of store staff.

- Track and measure the success of training programs, generating meaningful reports, insights and share recommendations to internal stakeholders and senior leadership team.

- Review and re-design training program and interventions basis business and store requirement.

- Driving R&R for the stores

- Keeping up-to-date with new interventions in store trainings in outside world.

- Exhibit strong budgetary controls on the training expense.

- Maintain and upgrade relevant training material and records.

Capabilities :

- Strong business acumen and sensitivity towards different brand essence.

- Leadership skills with ability to coach - effectively teach\develop others to next level.

- High energy levels - with ability to be involved in multiple tasks and ability to juggle.

- Effective listening and communications skills - simplify communication with ability to put the point across the board.

- Ability to do objective review - individuals and stores.

- Strong on devising need based interventions.

- Good analytical skills.

- Empathy

- Good planning and organizing skills.

- Basis budgetary controls and monitoring.

Experience :

Minimum 5 years of experience of delivering and designing training preferably from fashion retailing

- Sharp mind with ability to understand business linkages.

- Self-starter.

- Proven track record of training delivery and creating training materials.

- Explicit examples of training interventions for creating quality benchmarks and bettering performance.

- Good leadership skills with the ability to drive and motivate performance through effective coaching skills.

- Exceptional communicator and good at interpersonal skills.

There is a fair amount of travelling involved as the person need to go to the stores to conduct trainings.
