Job purpose:
The principal purpose is to assists Manager -Training in managing the training function and developing the annual training plan aligned to the organisation business objectives. To support the Training Manager to train and develop of a cadre of employees equipped to drive the performance and success of the Bank going forward. This will involve the planning, design and delivery of end-to-end training activities. The position also plays a leading role in promoting the desired work culture around the organization values of respect, integrity, craftsmanship and pride in ones work.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Training Manager & the Training team to deliver & manage exceptional training services to the organization
- To manage & groom the pool of trainer- s, SME's & Mentors
- Develop competency based training approach
- To accurately identify and assess organizational, departmental, and training program needs.
- To conduct training programs - behavioural, process, product & compliance trainings
- To design & deliver training programs - behavioural, capability, process, product & compliance trainings
- Conducting post training assessment to ascertain the ROI on training
- Align refresher trainings to improve the performance levels of the staff to meet the organization goals
- Assure the application of effective training principles/methods/philosophies
- Apply the principles of performance management & coaching
- Think critically when making decisions and solving problems
- Assure actions are consistent with business goals and objectives
- Adapt to dynamic work environment
- Develop and sustain effective relationships
- Use effective interpersonal & interdepartmental communication techniques
- Any other tasks as assigned from time to time by the Manager or above
Experience and Qualification
- Masters or Graduate with 6 to 8 years of experience in Training and Development domain.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Certification in Training and development.
- Strong analytical and numeracy skills.
- Exposure to database management.
