Qualification: CA (Preferably 1st Attempt) Experience: 6 Months to 5 Years; should be working in manufacturing industry or should be working in a consulting firm for manufacturing industry USGAAP exposure is a must JOB SPECIFICATIONS: - Should have worked in an organization with strong focus on direct tax compliance and planning. - Hands on experience in handling Direct Taxes and Transfer Pricing, notices and assessments - with an experience of representing before Tax Authorities. Key Role: - Handling direct taxation particularly Income Tax and Transfer Pricing. - Assisting in Income Tax assessment/appeal proceedings including preparation of necessary details. - Independently handing TDS compliance and addressing TDS queries (both internal and external) on day to day basis. - Drafting representations / responses including drafting of appeals. - Preparing brief for counsel's opinion, paper books for submission to Revenue Authorities etc. - Attending day to day queries of various business divisions and addressing the same. - Liaisoning with Auditors and tax consultants. - Preparing advance tax and tax provision working on quarterly basis. - Assisting in tax audit, transfer pricing audit and preparation of Income Tax Return. - Handling Tax Accounting (including Provision for tax, deferred tax working etc) under Indian and US GAAP. - Handling various management/ corporate tax reporting requirements. - Handling SOX documentation for direct taxes and transfer pricing.
