Role- Assistant Manager

Department - Taxation & Indirect Taxation Department

Location - Mumbai

Responsibilities:-

Tax Compliance:

- Prepare and file accurate tax returns in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

- Tax Planning: Analyze financial data to optimize tax strategies, minimize tax liabilities, and identify tax-saving opportunities.

-Research and Analysis: Stay updated on tax laws and regulations, conduct research on tax issues, and provide advice on tax implications of business decisions.

-Audits and Disputes: Assist in tax audits, respond to tax inquiries from authorities, and resolve tax-related disputes.

- Documentation: Maintain accurate records, documentation, and reports related to tax filings and compliance.

- Advisory Support: Provide guidance to clients or internal stakeholders on tax-related matters, deductions, credits, and exemptions

GST Compliance:

- Prepare and file GST returns accurately and within deadlines.

- Ensure compliance with all GST laws, regulations, and requirements.

-Handle GST registrations, amendments, and cancellations as required.

Financial Closing:

- Lead the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.

- Coordinate with various departments to gather financial data and ensure completeness.

- Review and reconcile accounts, ensuring accuracy in transactions and balances

Financial Statement Preparation:

- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements.

- Ensure compliance with accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS) and regulatory requirements.
