Job Title (India Specific): Assistant Manager - Supply Planner & Buyer

Department: Supply Planning

Organization: Operations

Location: Baddi Plant

Purpose of the position:

Plans and monitors the

- Long and medium term Capacity Planning with short term operational capacity utilization to meet the domestic & exports sales requirements.

- MPS planning for FG

- Inventory Management for FG and RM/PM across the chain

Key Responsibilities:

1. Support S&OP process.

2. Long Term Planning using Strat plan & available capacity and identify supply interventions based on business plans & Stretch plans for next year by jointly working with Sourcing, Finance & other concerned functions.

3. Rolling RCCP using APO for next 12 months to maximize the available capacity with minimum demand shortfall

4. Weekly constrained MPS Planning based on unconstrained requirements from APO

5. Alignment of constrained FG plans with Location Manager in case of External Mfg

6. Achieve Flexibility in meeting changing Customer requirements while ensuring stability of Plans

7. Monitoring & Review of FG and RM&PM Inventory

8. SLOB reduction for RM&PM

9. Support DRP process by providing ATP based on production plans and safety stock requirement.

10. Reduce Inventory & continuous Improvement of planning process & cycle.

11. Timely delivery of NPD's

12. Lead the CFT's for repeat consumer offers and ensure on time availability

13. Any other responsibility or Projects/Initiative which get assigned from time to time

a. Adherence to Planning rhythm schedule

b. OEE and MDR improvement plan tracking

c. Qtrly Capacity Review in line with Supply readiness plan for year

d. Supporting CIP projects if applicable

e. Operational / Strategic Cross functional Initiatives (project based)

5. Leadership Skills

a. Will work as a Planning lead for Baddi site and should be able to independently manage operations. Act as a single point of contact for any issue related to Planning.

1. Reports to (Role): General Supply Planning Manager

2. Direct Reports (Role & Number): None

3. Level of Supervision needed: Minimal

Qualification:

1. Education: Commerce/ Science / Engineering Graduate with management post graduation

2. Experience At least 4-5 years- experience in Supply Planning with strong understanding of Planning systems- SAP APO, SAP ECC, SAP BW etc

3. Other Skills (Certification/s): Supply Chain Certifications will be added advantage
