Roles and Responsibilities;

Cost Analysis and Reporting:

- Conduct detailed cost calculations and analysis for co-packing operations, including material costs, labour costs, overhead expenses, and production variances.

- Prepare accurate and timely cost reports, cost estimates, and cost forecasts to support decision-making processes.

- Identify cost-saving opportunities and provide recommendations to optimize operational efficiency.

Financial Performance Monitoring:

- Monitor and analyse key financial indicators related to co-packing activities, such as costs per unit, profitability, and cost trends.

- Develop and maintain cost tracking systems and procedures to ensure accurate recording and reporting of financial data.

Variance Analysis and Root Cause Investigation:

- Conduct regular variance analysis to identify discrepancies between actual and budgeted costs and investigate the root causes.

- Work closely with operational teams to understand production processes and factors influencing cost fluctuations.

- Provide detailed explanations for cost variances and develop action plans to address any issues or deviations.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

- Collaborate with various departments, including production, procurement, and quality assurance, to gather relevant data and ensure accurate cost accounting.

- Provide financial analysis and support to operations and management teams for decision-making processes.

Qualifications and Requirements:

- Strong understanding of cost accounting principles, standards, and practices.

- Proficient in using financial management software and advanced MS Excel skills.

- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve cost-related issues.

- Effective communication skills & ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment
