Role - Assistant Manager

Job Context and Purpose:

- AM - Strategy is responsible for the development and oversight of the business's strategies in order to support growth objectives while strengthening the business core to develop and maintain a competitive advantage.

- He / she is expected to support and lead a variety of strategic efforts inclusive of playing a pivotal role in building annual/long-term strategic plans.

- Makes recommendations based on emerging trends, expansion opportunities, competitive threats, viability of outside business partners, and internal business process improvement.

Key requirements:

- Educational Qualification: B. E. / B. Tech - Chem / Mechanical + MBA Operations / Marketing from good institutes

- Experience: 3 - 6 years of work experience in good consulting firms which specialize in the Strategy (preferably Big 4). Should have good IT skills & Analytics will be an added advantage

Level Specific Accountabilities:

Business Strategy:

- Ability to formulate strategy, collaborates with both internal and external stakeholders, and leads cross-functional teams in the development of business-wide operational strategies.

- Establishes and reviews key strategic priorities and translates them into actionable and quantitative plans.

- Alongside the senior strategy management, the Strategy Manager supports the strategic planning process to ensure that this process is timely, focused, and value adding.

Technical/Functional Competencies

- IT proficiency on - MS Office, Graphics, and flow charts, specialized software such as Statistical tools and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) applications

- Critical thinking: Ability to think using analyses, synthesis, evaluation, problem solving, judgment. Ability to use frameworks such as SWOT, PESTEL, BCG etc.

- Strategic Business focus: Detailed understanding and ability to contribute to organizations short term and long term business strategy

- Analytical bent of mind
