About the Organisation:

This is a Foundation works in the area of skilling and livelihoods for underserved youth.

This is a pioneering program with a strong PPP model, an agency-led approach to livelihoods and a vision of socio-economic transformation. The foundation are run through a public-private partnership that empowers the Government, Corporates, NGOs and Citizens to work together towards changing lives.

- The provision of location and capital expenditure for the centres is taken care of by the Government. Corporates contribute through CSR funds to provide operational expenses.

NGOs come on board to provide various skilling courses to the youth. With penetration in more than 400 of the 500 odd slum communities of Pune, the program has now expanded to other cities viz. PCMC, Dombivali, Aurangabad and also States viz. Delhi, Odisha and in Hyderabad.

Your role to supplement the Organisational goals:

- Quality of all inhouse programs : Ensuring the trainer team has high standards of delivery.

- Curriculum: Inhouse courses curriculum development and improvement. It should be clear and accurate and technical inputs to be integrated into assessments and curriculums.

- Training

- Conducting and supporting trainer's training sessions

- Identifying the knowledge or training gap and taking appropriate measures to ensure the success of the training and overall program.

- Evaluating the effectiveness of existing training programs - Spoken english, digital empowerment and making improvements based on feedback.

- Ensuring the documents are created and updated timely as required for the impactful implementation of the training.

- Assessment

- Ensuring the assessments are conducted regularly.

- Improving and upgrading the assessing practice according to the need of the organization.

- Training and supporting team for assessments.

- Planning, Execution & Continuous Improvement

- Preparing training, curriculum and assessments plans.

- Regularly visiting classroom sessions conducted by trainers for observation and making changes in training, curriculum or assessment depending on observations

Who we are looking for:

- Education : Master's Degree or equivalent in development sector/trainings

- Experience: Minimum 4-7 years in training preferably in skill development.

- Instructional design: The ability to design and develop effective curriculum, training materials, and assessments.

- Training delivery: The ability to facilitate training sessions in-person or virtually.

- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and concisely.

- Assessment and evaluation: The ability to assess the effectiveness of training programs, collect feedback, and use data to make improvements.

- Leadership: The ability to lead a team of trainers and support staff, providing guidance and direction to ensure the success of training programs.

- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills

- Ability to manage multiple projects and stay on deadline

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint

- Ability to work independently, Result Oriented and takes initiative
