Assistant Manager Location: Chennai Experience: 8 10 Years Function : Finance & Accounts Vacancy: 1 Job Description : - We are looking for a responsible Assistant Manager to help organize and timely reporting of management group financials its consolidation process. Your job will be highly important in ensuring the senior management team meets its goals of accuracy and consistency in financial reporting. - Assistant Manager responsibilities include both management reporting and statutory reporting as per Indian laws are effectively managed and adhered to. - Our ideal candidate shall be with a sharp business mindset. Able coordinator between various divisions of the company and minute details made available to the management for decisions making the process.You should also be skilled at organizing and solving problems. Interpersonal and mediation skills will also be very useful since you'll often be acting as a liaison between controllers and accountants across four divisions of the company. Responsibilities : - Responsible for consolidation of divisional data and submit to review before submission to Group - Consolidated reporting of Management accounts to Group in SAP BO - Preparation of monthly GL reconciliations for key critical accounts forming part of Balance sheet and PL - Consolidation of projects of all the divisions and review of its Profit and loss, balance sheet positions. - Co ordinate with divisions for project cash flows and preparation of consolidated cash flow - Review of consolidated funds position of bank accounts , maintain and monitor froward contract/hedging trackers , bank guarantees and LC positions and submit reports - Preparation of Financials and its schedules for Statutory audits and Tax audits. - Coordinate between the divisions in submission of data, its validation ,submission to auditors and ensuring timely completion of audit. - Consolidated maintenance of all direct and indirect tax status schedules against all open assessments for - Intimate the management on receipt of notices on direct and indirect tax matters and local coordination for pending cases as directed by Head Finance. - Ensuring maintenance of consolidated fixed assets Register and ensuring periodical physical verification of assets - Support management team with various management information reports as may be required by the operations. - Ensuring appropriate internal controls are in place for all the operational transactions. - Review of project profit and loss account and balance sheet on a monthly basis - Working with the Management team in development and periodical review of Standard operating procedures ( SOPs), its adherence and practice. - Consolidated preparation of process map of each finance function with basic inputs from each responsible person executing that function. - Ensuring updated job description is available for all finance personnel - Ensure an authority matrix is kept updated and live in force Requirements : - Proven experience in a similar position - Experience with consolidation and financial reporting process in MNC's - Familiarity with financial and Internal controls - Good math skills with the ability to create and analyze reports, spreadsheets - Proficient user of MS Office (MS Excel in particular) - Leadership and organizational abilities - Interpersonal and communication skills - Problem-solving attitude - Flexibility to work - Mcom/ CA Inter/PE II/CWA Inter with 8-10 years of experience or Qualified CA with 3-5 years experience in big firm. Qualification : Master of commerce , Mcom, CA inter, CWA Inter Working Days : 5 Days a Week (9:30 AM to 7:00 PM)
