Assistant Sales Manager (7 + years) for Learning and Design Organization

We are looking for a - Assistant Sales Manager - for one of our esteemed Clients for Chennai Location.

Responsibilities :

- Identifying new markets and segments in the assigned geography/locations.

- Gathering information about market and customer.

- Cold calling and visiting prospective clients across the assigned region .

- Identifying large RFP/RFI for e-Learning contracts.

- Assist in the development of the annual sales plan, specifically advising on: realistic forecasts for each product and territory (based on historical data, market trends, competitive activity, promotional strategy and sales effort), realistic costs of operating the sales force; and sales promotion programmed plans.

- Responsible for establishing a system of reports and communications involving sales reports, cyclical sales meetings, client followup etc.

- Manage specific accounts for continued business opportunities.

- Arranging meetings with potential customers.

- Responding instantly to requirements with current and potential customers.

- Making presentations and negotiating rates, terms and conditions.

- Understanding customers- business requirements and identifying new opportunities within the customer organization.

- Researching competitors and customers and making cost comparisons.

- Identifying the new trends in the market and opportunities where we will be able to sell our services.

- Reviewing periodically sales performance, reporting, and meeting targets.

- Maintaining customer list/database that is accurate and up-to-date.

- Producing Monthly, Quarterly, Half-yearly and Annual sales reports.

- Providing feedback to operations team periodically from customers.

- Ensuring effective internal and customer communications.

- Representing organization at trade exhibitions, events and expos.

Requirement :

- Strong Communication skills, go gutter and urge to drive the sales force.

- 7 + years of experience relevant Experience in e learning industry.

- Graduate /Post Graduate.
