Assistant Manager - Reporting & Audit KEY RESPONSIBILITIES : - Assist in developing the risk-based audit plan covering various geographical locations & operations across the organization. - To Lead the entire audit cycle by obtaining, analysing, and evaluating various documents, reports, and data to ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulations. - Prepare and present reports that reflect audit results unbiasedly and document the process. - To identify any improvement opportunities that would add value to the achievement of organization goals. - Conduct follow-up audits to monitor management's interventions on the recommendations provided. - Engage in continuous knowledge development regarding the sector's rules, regulations, best practices, tools, techniques and performance standards. - Continuous monitoring and streamlining of the financial operations, including payrolling, invoicing, and timely closure of books of accounts performed in India. - Preparation of monthly Balance Sheet schedules - Overview of the GST, Income Tax and other statutory compliances for the Indian business - Managing the monthly payroll and vendor payments for the India business - Overview of the processing of the transaction by the Finops teams ensuring the SOP compliance QUALIFICATIONS/ SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES : - CA or equivalent professional qualification with 1-2 years of experience - Ability to manipulate large amounts of data and compile detailed reports - Proven knowledge of auditing standards and procedures, laws, rules and regulations - Attention to detail and excellent analytical skills - Sound Independent Judgement - Work with little supervision - High-level interpersonal skills
