Urgently hiring for Regulatory Reporting_AM role for One of the leading investment Banking domain
Location : Gurgaon
Description :
Role & Responsibilities :
- As part of APRA domestic books review project, regulatory returns pertaining to MBL - Australia operations are undergoing extensive revision.
- The scope of change extends to Balance sheet, Commitments, Movements and P&L returns filed for MBL - Australia operations.
- This requires analysis and interpretation of regulatory guidance and pro-active communication with regulator, businesses, home location and Risk management group.
- As an AM, your role will be to assist management in efficiently implementing the new suite of MBL domestic books returns, including but not limited to:
- Understanding the definitions, instructions and guidance on new forms ;
Having an exposure into RWA, Basel
- Interpreting the change from existing requirements and analyse the impact;
- Performing detailed gap analysis by business unit and product.
- Assist in developing and implementing logics for new suite of returns
- Regular reporting to stakeholders in PMO, Home location and Senior management in GFS, Gurgaon;
- Developing relationships with the business areas (PC, FC, CDP team and DIOs) in order to understand regulatory impact per accounting treatment & presentation;
- Keeping up to date with regulatory consultations and assist with interpreting and communicating regulatory requirements;
- Ensuring the interpretations and assumptions are documented and cleared with Risk management team from controls assurance perspective; and
Background and Skill set Requirement :
- Outstanding academic background in a financial or quantitative degree e.g. actuarial, economics, engineering, mathematics or accounting
- 4 - 6 years relevant experience in regulatory reporting will be an advantage
- Sound knowledge of the Financial/Banking Services industry, products & Shared Services operating models
- Ability to anticipate and identify potential problems and demonstrate a proven track record in solving complex and ambiguous issues
- Flexibility, tenacity and the ability to maintain enthusiasm on long-running or complex process re-design initiatives
- Ability to motivate, influence and gain commitment at all levels of the organization
- Clear, concise written and verbal communications kills
- Strong numerical and abstract reasoning skills
- A high degree of comfort in dealing with information technology
- Very strong MS Office Skills
- Strong team player
- High attention to detail
