Regulatory Reporting

This group provides financial reporting to the various regulatory bodies like, the Securities Exchange Commission (SEC), FINRA,and Federal Reserve Board etc. The group works closely with business and finance units across the organization to gather, analyze and report this information under regulatory definition and requirements.

Responsibilities

The financial analysts in Broker Dealer Regulatory Reporting are responsible for filing most of Bank of America's reports to the US Banking Agencies. The primary focus of our team is report to external regulators on the MLPFS Broker Dealer side. Our business partners include MLPFS Accounting, Finance, and Operations. Key priorities for our team involve all facets of the Broker Dealer Reporting with the main focus on the below:

- Support Daily 15c3-3 Customer and PAB reserve computations

- Prepare supporting schedules for 15c3-3 line items

- Identification and escalation of breaks and suspense items

- Identify variances and send out queries for commentary

- Identify and research contract to market differences

- Assist other offshore team in troubleshooting macros

- Preparation of 15c3-3 and PAB trend schedules

- Prepare daily 17a5 compliance tasks

- Working with Internal and External Auditors

- Assisting with FINRA and other Regulator examinations and inquires

- Special Projects

Requirements

- 4-8 years financial industry/banking experience/auditing experience

- Strong financial analytics experience along with attention to detail

- Advanced experience/skills with Excel and complex spreadsheets (v look ups, pivot tables, macro- s)

- Candidate must be able to work both independently and as team member

- Strong analytical skills with strong time management skills.

- Strong communication and presentation skills

- Self Starter

Process Window: 3.30 PM to12.30PM ( 9 hour window)
