Assistant Manager - Raw Material/Purchase/Procurement - FMCG

Asst. Manager & Above (Raw Material Purchase / Procurement.)

Position Summary:

- We are looking for an experienced manager to manage inventory and purchasing procedures of raw materials and other supplies.

- He should be experience in supply chain and inventory control with excellent organizational and record-keeping skills.

- The goal is to ensure adequate flow of the material for plants operations.

- Experience in spices is mandatory

Job Responsibilities:

- Inventory management

- Vendor Development / Vendor Management

- Supply Chain Management

- Purchase & Procurement of Raw Material.

- Strong Negotiation Skills, Communication Skills.

- Analyze market and delivery systems in order to assess present and future material availability.

- Participate in the development of specifications for equipment, products or substitute materials

- Working knowledge of SAP

Job Requirements:

- 10+ year's progressive experience in Purchase department in FMCG manufacturing facility.

- Knowledge of Agri commodities.

- Open for traveling.

- Previous experience/strong understanding of budgeting/expense management with a basic understanding of financial and accounting practices.

- Strong computer skills including the ability to prepare spreadsheets and use Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Power Point and/or Access) to analyze data and trends.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication.

- Strong analytical and decision-making skills.

- Ability to work with teams and lead decision-making processes in a team environment.
