Assistant Manager - Projects - Food Processing

1. Lead and manage projects in meeting the essential requirements of: Technical/quality performance, Project Charter and Manufacturing requirements, Capital budget, Start-up budget.

2. Provide capital project estimating for cost, scheduling and technical performance as needed by the business units.

3. Execute the basic and detailed design of the projects based on GMI Guidelines & Standard, local statutory requirements, the defined user requirements specifications ensuring safety, quality, affordability, maintainability, operability and reliability.

4. Implement Improvement projects such as solutions to Capacity improvement, Debottlenecking, Efficiency Improvement.

5. To maintain the set quality standards in Equipment Selection and Execution i.e. Sanitary Design, GMP, HACCP & other quality requirements.

6. Ensure safety during both the construction and the ongoing operation of the plant.

7. Manage the required interactions outside of General Mills Network i.e. with external business partners, consultants & contractors.

8. Support the capital sourcing process, make the indents for capital projects with all requirements & seek approvals.

9. Ensure all Records & documentation related to function is created in time & maintained properly.

10. Provide pertinent cash flow information to the Plant regarding ongoing and future projects.

11. To ensure implementation of all Fixed Assets and Capital Projects policies and Procedures.

12. Should be able to work as a mentor for Manufacturing Platform teams to drive Idea Generation, Execution Excellence.
