This PE Analyst will focus on Private Equity (PE) account support, thought leadership, PE solutions, and cross - industry collaboration.  - The successful candidate will provide support for our PE G360 accounts, helping them to understand critical market trends and developments.  - The candidate will also provide support for a range of PE sector- level initiatives, including support to the PE Center, PE solution teams, PE thought leadership, and cross- sector outreach efforts.  2. A solid grasp of all relevant corporate finance research tools, as well as a strong analytical capability are required.  3. The candidate should be comfortable dealing with customers at all levels of the business, and be able to present their findings.  JOB SPECIFICATION  This is a Supervising Associate - (Asst Manager) level role but the person will work, mainly, as an Individual Contributor  - 4-7 years relevant corporate finance/investment banking experience  - Corporate Finance (preferably PE) market focused  - Strong grasp of standard financial metrics and quantitative analysis techniques  - Superior analytical abilities  - Strong grasp of key databases and systems - (Dealogic, Preqin, Pitchbook, Factiva, etc.)  - Able to develop a network of contacts around the firm, across industry and service line teams, to connect customers in PE with internal specialists  RESPONSIBILITIES:  - Provide support for key PE accounts, helping them to understand trends and developments, and identify new opportunities.  - Support development of PE sector- level initiatives, including thought leadership, PE cross- industry sector projects, PE Solution support, and deal generation.  - Demonstrate the ability to work closely with client teams, brainstorm, debate, etc.  - Participate on project teams to create analyses from unstructured and structured requests.  - Continuously develop in depth knowledge of the marketplace and our key accounts.  - Share and leverage knowledge across the firm globally.  - Proactively team up with the network of Strategic and Market Intelligence analysts and researchers within PE as well as across sectors and Solutions to share leading practices and insights.  REQUIREMENTS:  - Master's Degree (Business Administration) with a minimum of 3 years of experience in corporate finance/ investment banking research.  - Good understanding of Private Equity market - what it is, how deals work and ability to communicate with PE customers in their own language.  - Strong grasp of financial statements, - ability to analyse financial data to support pursuits (e.g., financial ratios, listed company metrics etc.)  - A flexible self- starter, able to deliver to tight deadlines and cope with dynamic and changing requests in a fast paced corporate finance team. Strong project management skills are essential.  - Intellectual curiosity and rigorous attention to quality and detail are crucial.  - Ability to write well and clearly communicate data and insights in a structured fashion.  - Excellent team attitude, strong interpersonal and communication skills, as well as experience dealing at all levels of a large organization.  - Expert user of Word, PowerPoint and Excel.  LOCATION : This is a Gurgaon, India based role.
