Assistant Manager - Planning Analyst
About the team :
- Planning is a central team responsible for creating business plans & forecasts to enable decision making & operational readiness. The team strives to build balanced plans to optimize superior customer experience, supply chain reliability & operating costs.
- There are 2 major responsibilities that the analyst in the role would be delivering upon a) Capacity Planning & b) Capacity management .
- The person would be reporting to the CL planning lead.
What you'll do :
Supply Chain :
- Understand key drivers of Supply Chain from demand and supply side
- Build input driven scientific plan/forecast for supply chain & monitor key supply chain metrics
- Innovate new ways of working to improve forecasts & optimize supply chain cost, reliability & speed.
- Work with large teams to bring consensus and finalize planning numbers with all functional stakeholder
- Continuously track specific resource and space requirements based on agreed plans with Supply Chain stakeholders
- Build planning configurations in tech products to ensure smooth supply chain execution
- Understand product interactions & drive business use case led improvements with product
Analytics :
- Ability to analyse large data and convert into simple presentable forms
- Proficient in problem solving involving large data sets & advanced optimization
- Produce trends and charts for performance monitoring & control on daily, weekly, monthly basis
- Proficient in developing zero-touch automated solutions with self-serve capabilities
- Ability to build sustainable models around supply chain planning KPIs using agile philosophy
What you'll need :
- Education background ; Graduate (Engineering/Statistics)
- 1 to 3 years of relevant work experience in Analytics, Consulting, FMCG, eCommerce, Manufacturing
- Strong analytical, problem solving, communication skills & team work
- Knowledge of supply strategies, supply planning, supply chain operations, inventory planning, and demand forecasting is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with automation and capabilities in R/Python etc.
