Job Summary:

The Banking, Treasury, and Payroll Manager is responsible for overseeing the company's banking relationships, managing treasury operations, and ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll. This role requires strong leadership, financial expertise, and the ability to manage multiple financial functions to support the organization's financial health and compliance with regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Banking Management:

- Develop and maintain relationships with banks and financial institutions to secure favorable terms and services.

- Oversee the management of all company bank accounts, ensuring optimal account structures and efficient use of banking services.

- Monitor and negotiate bank fees to ensure cost-effective banking operations.

- Ensure accurate and timely bank reconciliations, addressing and resolving any discrepancies.

- Implement and maintain robust online banking systems and controls to enhance security and efficiency.

Treasury Management:

- Monitor and manage the organization's daily cash positions to ensure adequate liquidity for operational needs.

- Develop and implement cash flow forecasting models to predict and manage cash requirements.

- Manage the company's investment portfolio, ensuring alignment with the organization's financial strategy and risk tolerance.

- Optimize cash management processes, including receivables, payables, and working capital management.

- Prepare and present regular financial reports on cash flow, liquidity, and investment performance to senior management.

- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies related to treasury operations.

Payroll Management:

- Oversee the accurate and timely processing of payroll for all employees, including calculating wages, bonuses, deductions, and taxes.

- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations.

- Maintain and update payroll records and systems, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.

- Address and resolve payroll-related inquiries and discrepancies promptly.

- Coordinate with HR to manage employee benefits and ensure accurate payroll deductions.

- Ensure payroll processes comply with internal controls and support audit requirements.

Financial Reporting and Compliance:

- Prepare comprehensive financial reports related to banking, treasury, and payroll activities.

- Assist in the development and implementation of annual budgets and financial plans.

- Ensure adherence to internal controls, policies, and procedures across all managed functions.

- Participate in internal and external audits, implementing recommendations as needed.

- Stay informed about industry best practices and changes in relevant laws and regulations.

Team Management and Development:

- Lead and manage the banking, treasury, and payroll teams, providing guidance, training, and performance management.

- Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team.

- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Other Responsibilities:

- Support ad-hoc financial projects and analyses as required.

- Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and systems to increase efficiency and effectiveness.

- Provide training and support to staff on banking, treasury, and payroll systems and procedures.

Qualifications and Skills:


- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.

- Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA, CTP) is advantageous.


- 5-7 years of experience in banking, treasury, and payroll management.

- Strong experience with financial planning and analysis.

- Proficiency with payroll software and financial systems.


- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

- In-depth knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.

- Excellent organizational and time management skills.

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

- Proven leadership and team management capabilities.

Working Conditions:

- Office environment with standard working hours.

- Occasional overtime may be required to meet deadlines.

- Regular interaction with various departments and external financial institutions.
