Assistant Manager - Operational Risk Management

Position : Assistant. Manager (Risk Management)

Position Summary :

Ensure continuing focus on material business risks by senior management and establish - business as usual- mindset for Risk Management at all levels. Mitigating business risks through a process of consultation and engagement with various stakeholders in Operations, Clients and Technology suppliers and partners. The position is required to adopt a partnership approach to understand underlying operations and recommend appropriate and fit-for-purpose practices in the below domains

Process Brief :

- Support implementation and monitoring of the Operational Risk Management framework to identify, assess and mitigate operational risk that arises from inadequate or failed internal processes, people, systems or external events.

- Perform Risk assessment for critical applications and business processes.

- Measuring efficiency of existing controls and recommending controls enhancing process

- Ensure that all significant issues have an appropriate level of visibility

Key Accountabilities :

- Operational Risk Management

- Risk quantification, defining risk appetite

- Internal policy compliance

Specific Position Related Experience :

- 5-6 years of relevant experience in audits, operational risk and compliance.

Specific Knowledge Required :

- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent from a recognized University.

- Post Graduate (MBA / MCA / ME / MS) OR Inter CA would be preferred.

- Prior work experience in a consulting firm or top IT and ITES companies in India or abroad would be a plus.

- Prior experience in a similar role in the insurance, investment banking and financial services industry would be a plus.
