Position Summary:
The candidate is responsible for managing the sourcing activities of the value stream and product family. Material planning for running the production lines to meet current and future customer demand. This will include establishing preferred supplier selection, capacity mapping, and criteria based on supplier evaluations of price, quality, delivery, certifications, and compliance with procurement regulations.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5-10 years experience in planning / procurement / purchase function of Engineering product.
- BE or Diploma in Mechanical or equivalent engg
Responsible for -
- Prepare Plans for supplier deliveries based on stock levels and future requirements.
- Prepare customer plans in alignment to customer requirements, capacity availability, Supplier deliveries.
- Liase with customer service , w/h , production teams to ensure customer and internal plans are met.
- Prepare Production plans and track Materials required for running production lines.
- Handle all inventory reporting for inventory and forecasting.
- Make supplier capacity plans in line with current and future market demand.
