Assistant Manager/Manager - Sourcing & Procurement
Job Responsibilities :
- Material procurement
- Identifying suitable suppliers through an effective RFQ method
- Negotiating with suppliers for final terms and conditions
- Prepare comparative statements for sending to the respective user dept. before finalization
- Reviewing the Purchase Order as per the agreed negotiated terms and conditions
- Ensure complete documentation (Experience of Exim documentation is a must)
- Vendor/ Supplier management
- Maintaining, Evaluating and rating suppliers
- Constantly monitoring supplier performance and identifying alternatives
- Maintaining an effective MIS and track all data
- Maintaining all details on supplier quotes
- Tracking all purchase orders and amendments
- Maintaining all Rate contracts
- Arriving at root cause analysis in case of delays
- Tracking customer satisfaction through appropriate metrics
- Co-ordination
- With Manufacturing and Stores on inventory
- With Finance on payments.
