Asst. manager / Manager Solvency II Pillar 3
Main Purpose of Job :
- Support the Asia Solvency II Pillar 3 reporting to ensure that it meets the Group requirements and is performed in a timely and accurate manner.
- Monitor and ensure the submission is in compliance with group reporting requirements
Key Responsibilities : The key responsibilities of this role are to :
Coordinate and assist in the Solvency II Pillar 3 reporting processes across region :
- Review and understand Group financial reporting instructions and handbook
- Perform the control checks results and prepare the analysis of the submitted reports. Assist in the preparation of the consolidated clearance pack
- Work closely with Reporting and Analysis team and Reporting & Governance team to ensure financial and management data in Magnitude / IRIS are aligned with IFRS financials and in compliance with Solvency II Pillar 3 requirements
- Ensure good quality and timeliness of the reported financials and data. Review the control checks results, identify and fix input errors
- Actively participate in the answering of Group's queries on financial reporting inputs in Magnitude / IRIS. Provide accounting and system supports to Local Entities on Group reporting tools
- Coordinate and support the required CFO sign-offs to support Solvency II Pillar 3 reporting
Assist Local Entities to streamline, standardize and improve the Solvency II Pillar 3 processes :
- Regularly discuss with Local Entities the Solvency II Pillar 3 processes to maintain efficiency, effectiveness and ensure continuous improvement of the processes
Provide :
- Provide support to the training's to Local Entities on Solvency II Pillar 3 reporting and latest updates
- Provide support to Reporting and Governance team

Experience/Qualification :
- Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business discipline. Actuarial knowledge is an added advantage
- CA, CPA or qualified Actuary
- Minimum of 3 years insurance industry experience
Knowledge :
- Knowledge of IFRS, financial reporting and Solvency II Pillar 3 requirement
Skills :
- Good communication skills with good command of spoken and written English
- Team player with excellent project management skills and good experience in monitoring, analysis and reporting performance
- Self-motivated and strong analytical mind, well-organized and attention to details
- Capable of effectively handle multiple priorities under time and delivery pressures in a changing business environment
- Good business sense and presentation skills
- Proficiency in MS Power point, Word and Excel
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
