Client: Power Generation Company Level: Assistant Manager/Manager / Senior Manager Reporting to: AVP / Engagement Leader Location: Jubail (KSA) / Pune (India) / Mumbai (India) Work Timing: 8 am through 5 pm AST Job Attributes: - Review and update accounting policies as per IFRS standards - Develop accounting procedure manuals from recording transactions to reporting financials - Financial/Business planning and analysis - Review, track and update annual budget and long-term business plan - Develop and improve financial model - Develop and implement management reporting and dashboard - Define, implement and measure key metrics and KPIs - Establish a governance framework and ensure periodic reporting - Establish internal controls and compliance assurance - Oversee VAT / WHT and Treasury function, including FX hedging - Buddy and train Client personnel in accounting processes Work Experience: - 5-12 years of relevant work experience, preferably in the energy industry - Prior experience of complex accounting, financial reporting and financial analysis work - Knowledge of budgeting and business planning process - Working knowledge of financial accounting processes - Preparation of management reports and dashboard Educational Qualification: For Senior Position-Graduate / Post-Graduate in Accounting or Business Management with a specialization in Finance- For Junior Position - CA/CMA or CPA Other Skills: - Strong verbal and written English communication - Expert level knowledge of MS Office and any major ERP - Knowledge of financial reporting tools and techniques - Knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS - Ability to adapt and undertake stretch assignments - Willingness to work at and travel to Client location
