Assistant Manager/Manager - Sales & Business Development
The Main Purpose of the job is identifying and developing Integrated logistics business. The job Exists to work closely with Key Account Manager, Sales Team, Business Support Team, Air Freight Manager, Customer Service Manager, Customs Regulatory Compliance Manager, General Manager Freight Forwarding and Managing Director to implement strategies to maximize yield from all products and gain higher business share for the organization. The job Contributes towards increase in revenue and OI.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
- To achieve personal Operating Income Target
- Handling quotation strike rate
- Promptly sending quotations to clients and closely following up on all the quotations sent out
- Preparing weekly sales visit plan and enter details of visits into the organization's sales system
- Targeting and securing new clients
- Ensuring credit approvals, if they are in place for all credit clients handled by the sales team
- Assisting Finance department in maintaining receivables from credit accounts within agreed terms
- Actively passing on sales lead to sales teams within the company and overseas companies and agents
- Capitalize on sales leads to convert them into business.
