Job Description :
Risk Register :
- Create, Review and Update Risk Register for various functions in SSC, Chennai and Mumbai
- Analyse risks in all delivery and support teams w.r.t. Process, People, Technology and Infrastructure and update Risk register
- Track events at SSC, Competitors, Shipping Business and other national and international events that may impact SSC and review the Risk Register
- Circulate periodic reports related risk assessments and updates
Business Impact Analysis :
- Prepare and maintain Business Impact Analysis (BIA) documents for the different delivery teams aligned to ISO 27001 and ISO 22301 standards
- Business Continuity Planning (BCP) - Design and Testing
- Socialize the BCP concept amongst staff at Chennai & Mumbai by awareness sessions and other campaigns
- Facilitate BCP Steering Committee formation and define roles and responsibilities
- Prepare BCP with Chennai and Mumbai as BCP sites for each other aligned to ISO 27001 and ISO 22301 standards
- Prepare SOPs for conducting BCP tests and responding to potential BCP situations
- Plan, coordinate with delivery and support teams and conduct tests for different delivery teams and validate BCP
- Review BCP test results w.r.t. Operational KPIs, BCP KPIs and SLA requirements with the leadership of delivery and support teams
- Conclude lessons learnt from BCP test results and review SOPs and update them as required
- Conduct periodic Admin, IT and HR Risk and Resilience audits, share the recommendations and follow up on the recommendations to closure
- Circulate periodic reports on the current status of; Progress, Process Deliveries Training, Improvement Plans and related areas, to give complete visibility, to all key players within all India delivery locations and key stakeholders
Implementing BCP :
- As per BCP SOP, coordinate response to BCP situations
- Monitor and report progress in implementing BCP
- Facilitate the declaration and revocation of BCP by the concerned authorities
-Review BCP implementation results w.r.t. Operational KPIs, BCP KPIs and SLA requirements along with the leadership of delivery teams
- Conclude lessons learnt from BCP implementation results and review SOPs and update them as required
- Give feedback to agencies including delivery and support teams on improving CAPA w.r.t. avoiding BCP situations
- Follow-up on CAPA implementation
Interfacing with ISMS teams :
- Share required information with the CISO and ISMS implementation teams as required
- Liaise with them during internal and external ISMS audits
Certification to ISO 22301 Standard :
- Organize Lead Auditor training for key staff within BCP team
- Train staff in delivery and support teams as Internal Auditors
- Prepare BCMS Manual and other related documentation
- Organize BCMS internal audits, review results and facilitate corrective actions
- Liaise with external certification audits and coordinate external audits
- Monitor Corrective Actions for external audit findings
Key Deliverables :
- Ensuring business continuity under different potential BCP situations
- BCP and related SOP and BCMS Manual preparation and updates aligned to ISO 27001 and ISO 22301 standards
- Planned BCP tests, Test reports and review of results
- BCP implementation and review
- BCMS certification to ISO 22301 standard
Qualification and Job Specification :
Essential Qualifications :
Education : An Engineer with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent Grade / CGPA from not less than a Tier-II college
Skills : Expertise in the design, documentation, testing and implementation of BCPs; Knowledge of Shipping Domain would be an advantage
Training : Certified BCP Implementer; Certified Lead Auditor to ISO 22301 Standard and preferable ISO 27001 Standard
