Assistant Manager/Manager - Production Planning Control

Job Profile

Designation : Asst Mgr / Mgr (PPC - CV)

Qualification : Graduate from reputed institute, preferably from Mech / Auto discipline

Experience : Min. 5-10 years, preferably in Supply Chan/Automobile / Engineering Industry

Location : Bajaj Auto Ltd, Waluj - Aurangabad (Maharashtra)

Age : Around 28 - 35 years.

Key Responsibilities :

1.Plan and procure parts as per monthly plan for different models of various commercial vehicles Bajaj Auto.

2. Ensure availability of components as per shift wise / daily production and dispatch plan in terms of Quantity and Quality.

3. Plan and execute changes in despatch plan related with cross functional departments in the plant and Vendors.

4. Plan and coordinate smooth receipt and issue parts to assembly line to avoid production losses.

5. Monitor Inventory and control within management norms.

6.Plan and execute outsourcing activity as per management guidelines.

7. Monitor transport cost of vendor material and target to reduce by applying various techniques e.g. Milk route run, 3PL (Third party logistics) etc.

8. Plan and resolve GST related issues in material procurement.

9. Maintain material accounting parameters are per management guidelines

10. Study and monitor engineering changes for development progress and stock balancing during change-over

11. Interfacing with Purchase/Engineering/Component Development teams during new model implementation process

12. Interfacing and alignment with production/QA/ME departments for daily activities

Key Competencies :

1. Study and enhance vendor capacity for higher / existing volume for existing / new models.

2. Knowledge of Material accounting / PIV (Perpetual Inventory Verification) system and take care of external / internal audits

3. Ensure availability of capacity at vendor end to fulfil the required spare parts as per plan

4. Knowledge about various manufacturing processes and systems required for automobile products

5. Knowledge of inventory management and stores management function and systems related to SAP- MM & PP module

5. Knowledge related to excise and custom formalities

6. Strong perseverance ability and negotiation Skills
