Responsibilities : - Analyze various processes/applications, recommend & Implement modification & procedural improvements to enhance operational efficiency and save overall cost.
- Responsible and accountable for periodical capacity planning to foresee probable bottlenecks and take requisite corrective/preventive measures accordingly
- Responsible to objectively monitor and track in-process/line rejection of material from sub-assembly/main assembly lines
- Well versed with Takt time & Cycle time and motive of same, cycle time calculation, throughput time
- Proven excellence in transition of Manual Production line to automated Production line.
- Analyze manpower requirements of projects using time study, Motion study & line balancing techniques.
- Expertise in setting up new production lines, Time and Motion Study, Line balancing, Loss Management
- Well versed with cost-effective and innovative methods aimed at continuously improving the overall line efficiency (OLE) and reducing losses wrt availability/efficiency/quality wherever identified or applicable
- Responsible to develop and implement proven manufacturing and production process improvement methods and practices such as kaizen, quality circle, 5-S, continuous improvement projects and so on
Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience within Production/Production Engineering domain preferably from OEM, Industrial Automation, Machine/Tooling OR similar industry.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from Tier 1 Institute. Master's Degree / MBA is preferred.
- Strong business/financial acumen, excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
- Ability to interact with cross-functional and international teams.
