Job Description :

Assistant Manager / Business Development Manager - (Mumbai - Thane)

1. Coverage of modern trade universe in the territory.

Modern trade is defines as all self service stores including national, regional and local formats in the territory.

2. The critical role is opening and retaining the accounts in each channel.

3. To achieve secondary and primary sales objectives as per agreed targets.

4. Establishing the distributor net work service the accounts

5. Co-ordinate and help the SMM in implementing the marketing plan as per ABP.

6. Establish geographical territories consists of a mix of all channels for each BDE and merchandisers for cost effective coverage

7. Establish primary and secondary targets account wise and market wise as per the territory for all the BDE's in your territory. Break them day wise, week wise and month wise for tracking and review.

8. Appoint all the agreed number of distributors to service the modern trade account base. Refer to induction manual for the profile of distributor for modern trade

9. Conduct review meetings on weekly and monthly basis and review the efficiency of your BDE's and track account

10. Co-ordinate with SMM and execute all the marketing and brand activities as per the agreed calendar in your territory through the BDE

11. Execute all market contact plans as agreed with the State head and report periodically

12. Establish a training calendar in consultation with the state head and implement for your Team

13. Ensure that your team raises their and their distributor claims on time and you approve the same on time and forward them for authorization to your state head.

14. Regularly up-date your immediate supervisor on all market developments and Opportunities

15. Ensure that you maintain the budgeted manpower in your territory across the year.

16. Fill-up all the vacancies in your territory on time with the help of your State head

17. BDM's need to work on relationship building in key accounts
