Reports to: Group Risk Head

Education Qualification - CA, MBA, CFA

Key Skills Required:

Functional:

- Extensive expertise in Credit risk management

- Comprehensive knowledge and experience in conceptualizing & implementing credit risk management framework based on organizations risk appetite

- Credit risk assessment for wholesale and structured lending products:

Lending against Real estate

Lending against shares

Lending against charge on book debts and cash flows etc.

- Ability to take credit decisions in a timely manner and present to risk committee with recommendations

- Communicating with business CEO and Risk committee on a regular basis

- Experience in managing market risk and operational risk would be an added advantage

Key Role Responsibilities:

- Responsible for researching and analyzing credit risks, assessing credit history and approving or denying an extension of credit to potential customers.

- Gathering information from credit agencies or analyzing financial information, such as company accounts, balance sheets, assets, trading history and projected growth plans

- Seeking references and confirming their validity and value

- To present the credit proposal to Risk Committee with recommendations

- Responsible for ongoing monitoring of the credit portfolio and suggest corrective actions if required

- Any experience/knowledge of broking industry would be an added advantage

- Preparing MIS / Portfolio reports for presentation to Committees / Forums.
