Jigsaw has been mandated to hire Manager - Corporate Accounting and Reporting for one of India's Largest fragrance companies.

ROLE DESCRIPTION

Position: Manager - Corporate Accounting and Reporting

Location : Mumbai - Mulund

Reporting to : Financial Controller

Job Description:

- Accounting and reporting

- Working knowledge of consolidation process for financial statements to prepare accounts with disclosures and notes

- Ensuring timely and accurate closing of books of accounts on a monthly basis and preparation of quarterly results

- Preparing variance analysis of financial performance of both P&L and balance sheet

- Preparing accounts for a listed company and its subsidiaries with notes to accounts, disclosures etc

- Writing accounting memos for reaching appropriate accounting solutions

- Information and audit

- Providing solutions for accounting positions and well versed in accounting standards, preparation of accounting notes etc

- Coordinating and liaising with auditors on key accounting matters and driving closure of accounting positions with them

- Dealing with auditors to for quarterly and annual audit and closing of audit issues

- Work with FP&A and other internal teams to drive activities

- Controls and hygiene

- Review of sub ledgers and General ledgers to ensure appropriate reconciliations and controls are in place

- Process reengineering and automation

- Balance sheet and P&L review

Required profile:

Experience : 3 - 6 years of post-qualification experience, with strong knowledge of accounting standards, providing accounting solutions and dealing with auditors.

Level : Asst. Manager / Manager

Education : Chartered Accountant
