Purpose of Department

The RBWM Analytics COE (Centre of Excellence) has been established to provide a sophisticated analytics capability and enable scale for the RBWM business. The COE will deliver globally coordinated analytic solutions through 4 Regional instances, comprised of analysts within country and offshore centres. The COE will have Specialized Analytic resources (across Customer, Product, Channel and Digital) that are aligned to Global business leads aimed at delivering a Global Analytics Agenda that is fully supported by Regional CVM Heads. The COE strategy will operate on the principle of "Build Once Deploy Many- to efficiently deliver standardized, globally consistent analytic solutions and insight that drives customer value exchange and optimizes revenue for RBWM.

Job Description

- Operate as a senior data science expert for the team

- Lead Machine Learning projects for EMEA

Duties and Responsibilities

- Deliver the Data and Machine learning services plan for EMEA

- Collaborate with business and data engineering teams for machine learning solution deployment.

- Understand business need and suggest suitable machine learning solutions.

- Play an active role in managing machine learning IP within the team and promote the culture of efficient solution development.

- Ensure adherence to data ethics and compliance in developing Machine Learning solutions.

- Mentor and upskill junior data scientists in the team.

- Develop POCs in areas of skillsets / algorithms for tomorrow to keep the organiation future ready.

- Supports a culture committed to the delivery of outstanding customer service and team environment (healthy, open, transparent, honest)

Skills/Experience Required

- 4 year Bachelor's or Master's degree from reputed University with concentration on marketing, finance, economics or other quantitative field such as statistics or engineering.

- Strong knowledge and understanding of financial services, analytical skills with minimum 2 years of proven business analysis experience or equivalent preferred

- Ability to comprehend intricate and diverse range of business problems and analyse them with limited or complex data and provide a feasible solution framework.

- Knowledge of Data Science tools like R, Python and other equivalent analytical tools is essential

- Fast learner and ability to develop new machine leaning competency.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to develop and effectively communicate complex concepts and ideas

- Ability to work in cross-functional teams. Strong interpersonal skills and drive for success Demonstrated expertise in handling/having worked complex projects in an independent capacity
