We have a Job Opportunity with one of the Leading Big Fours for Gurgaon Location for Assurance (Statutory Audit) profile for Assistant Managers(3+ years of experience) and Managers(5+ years of experience) for onshore(Indian Audits) for Indian Practice.

JD For Assistant Managers:

Job purpose

To networks within the peer group and other levels in the firm in order to gain understanding of issues that may impact his clients and prepare high quality proposals and client acceptance documents in accordance to consulting(big four) firm policy. Also, work and deliver on a multiple client base.

Your client responsibilities:

- Demonstrate a good level of technical knowledge and judgment and have the ability to develop well-reasoned and researched arguments on client issues.

- Demonstrate an application and solution-based approach to the problem solving technique. The same can be utilized for research on delivery of solutions.

- Demonstrate expertise in primary accounting framework (US GAAP, Other Domestic or IFRS) and in related financial reporting matters

- Demonstrate expertise in using consulting(big four) Global Audit Methodology to perform an assurance engagement in compliance with auditing standards

- Identify areas requiring improvement in the clients business processes and recommend possible solutions. Prepare and deliver management Letter to be provided to the client

Your people responsibilities - as an Assistant Manager, you will:

- Manage teams

- Motivate and inspire confidence in junior colleagues

- Be competent in discharging supervisory responsibilities and effective delegation

- Acts as a communication channel and help resolve people related issues

- Maintains composure and exercises control in pressure situations

- Proactively provides guidance on development of interpersonal and soft skills to improve competence of team members and counselees

Qualifications

- Qualifications: CA

- 3 -6 years of post qualification experience

- Expertise in auditing and accounting standards, methodologies, statutory audits, Indian GAAP and exposure

- Should be able to managing independent relationships with clients and focus on business development, planning & managing assignments and managing teams.

- Previous Big 4 experience would be preferable.

JD For Managers:

Job Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain productive relationships with client management throughout the year. Establish expectations of value to be delivered.

- Participate in performing audit procedures, especially focusing on complex and/or specialized issues. Collaborate to plan engagement objectives and an audit strategy that complies with professional standards and appropriately addresses risk.

- Understand the client's industry and recognize key performance drivers, business trends, and emerging technical and industry developments. Stay informed of general business/economic developments and their impact to the client.

- Develop people by encouraging individuals to think for themselves and take responsibility for their contributions to the team. Delegate work successfully. Conduct timely performance reviews and provide performance feedback/training. Lead by example. Use technology to continually learn, share knowledge with team members, and enhance service delivery. Maintain an educational program to continually develop skills.

- Maintain cooperative relationships with other engagement teams. Monitor the engagement team's progress against the plan and alter it when needed. Generate new business opportunities. Understand consulting(big four) and its service lines and actively assess/present ways to apply knowledge and services. Develop long-term relationships and networks both internally and externally.

To qualify for this highly visible position and an excellent opportunity for career advancement, candidates must have:

- A qualified Chartered Accountant with approximately 5-8 years of post qualification experience and working as an auditor for a public accounting firm (preferably from a BIG 4).

- Excellent project management skills

- Advanced written and verbal communication skills
