Assistant Manager - Legal - Retail Industry

Location - Delhi

- End to end Real Estate legal work in the Retail Industry

- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating LOIs, MOUs, Leave and License Agreements, Lease Deeds, Addendums, Amendments, Extension Letters, Option Agreements, Link Letters, etc

- Assisting in conducting due diligence/title searches for properties prior to commencement of property deals

- Ensuring proper contract stamping and registration including all execution formalities

- Liaising with different departments as necessary to complete any and all formalities concerning property matters

- Internal documentation and process to be conducted

- Preparing legal notices and notice letters to landlord

- Comprehensive advising the Real Estate Business Development team based on knowledge of real estate laws for all aspects of property transactions including, but not limited to, advice on legal risk mitigation, statutory advice/compliance, structuring deals, appropriately reflecting commercials in legal documents, gap analysis between LOIs/MOUs and final contracts, etc.

- End to end contract management of legacy and on-going real estate contracts:

1. Creating trackers of contract fields based on information typically required from contracts internally

2. Maintaining and updating contract trackers for legacy and on-going contracts

3. Responsible for intimating internal stakeholders/departments for taking necessary action based on contract triggers

- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating Marketing Agreement and contracts.
