Specific Responsibilities:

- Taking strategic initiatives from Legal Standpoint.

- Supporting the Legal Framework of company through Resource Sharing Agreements, Support Services Agreements and Facility Sharing Agreement.

- Reviewing and drafting of contracts, agreements and internal policies and ensure that they are in compliance with all statutory or legal requirements.

- Drafting/Vetting of Agreements with Vendors, Consultants etc in pursuance of Contract Act, etc like NDAs, Client Agreements, Lease Agreements, Consultancy Agreements, Procurement Agreements, Sub-contract Agreements, Service Agreements, Memorandum of Understanding, Power of Attorneys, Letter of Authorities, Engagement Letters etc.

- Negotiating with Second / Other Party on certain clauses in the Agreements and framing out the conclusion in best interest of the organization.

- Ascertaining the need and obtaining the Shops & Establishment Registration Certificate and their branch offices immediately with the execution of the Lease Deed.

- Review and advise on legal implications of internal policies and procedures in terms of Labour Laws like Overtime regulations, Minimum Wages Act, Maternity Benefits Act, Payment of Gratuity Act, Payment of Bonus Act, Payment of Wages Act, Indian etc.

- Assisting in Legal Audit and Due Diligence.

- Assisting in formulating the Prevention of Sexual Harassment Policy and compliances under The Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013.

Maintenance of Information Systems:

- Contractors Records like wages & salary Register Distribution, PF & ESI records ( Challan, Returns), Records as per applicable policies, Labour department returns, Liasioning and Correspondence Maintenance and record all reimbursement as per the policy (Vehicle, Telephone, Uniform)

- Excellent knowledge of ESIC, EPF, LWF, Prof Tax, Gratuity, Super annuation, Bonus & other acts.

- Grievance Redressal & Disciplinary proceedings for employees.

- Facilitate and ensure compliance to various statutory & labour laws and their inspection by external authorities

- Maintenance of GPA/Mediclaim, Liaoning on term and conditions with vendors

Education And Experience Requirements:

Education required: Law Graduate / MBA /PGDM

Experience required:

- 5 to 8 years of relevant experience

Knowledge / Skill required:

- End to End experience in Legal & compliance

- Strong self learning skills and interpersonal skills (internal & external)

- Must be able to work with people of different cultures and interface with all levels in a matrix driven organization.

- Good decision maker based upon a mixture of analysis, wisdom, experience and judgment;

- Results oriented
