- Assist FRL in the legal matters relating to Risk and Reputational Aspects
- Review of legal documentation such as Contracts/ Service Agreements with Clients and Sub-Contractors, Non-Disclosure Agreement.
- Review of tenders (Request for Proposals) issued by Clients, Proposals and Engagement Letters submitted to the Client.
- Recommend changes required in the above documentation from the legal and functional perspective, suggesting risk mitigating steps.
- Drafting Contracts / Agreements taking into account the functional requirement.
- Discussions with client/client legal departments to negotiate contracts.
- Liaison with the company legal to imbibe the legal imperatives and including in the Financial Advisoryfunction.
- Developing formats /templates for various types of Agreement
- Assistance in developing policies for the firm from risk and quality perspective.
- Assistance in preparing material (presentations) for workshops & training programs.
- Other legal matters (such as client disputes etc.)
Internal compliance matters
The resource should have knowledge of fundamental subjects in Indian law. The resource should have:
- Ability to interpret laws, rules and regulations and apply them to work as required.
- Analytical skills - should be able to use judgment, analyze facts and draw logical conclusions
- Effective verbal and written communication skills – should be able to draft legal clauses / contracts, prepare reports and correspondence related to work
- Experience – Around 3-5 years
