Assistant Manager - Investment Finance/Private Fixed Income

Role - Within the Valuation team, Valuation Analyst will assist in valuing a multibillion-dollar block of derivatives and complex securities portfolio, with the opportunity to grow into a significant value-add role as a valuation expert.

Skills/Capabilities:

- Ability to understand financial analysis / investments / valuation process

- Basic Maths / Quants knowledge

Responsibilities:

- Valuation Operations: Assist in the operations of the Private Fixed Income valuation process, on a daily and monthly basis

- Ad-hoc Analysis: Fixed Income valuation related, operational and production issues

- Liaison with North American Valuation and possibly other teams (Operations and Accounting) for reporting, troubleshooting data and process issues

- Consult with various teams on a wide range of Fixed Income, and analytical requests

Education and Experience:

- Graduate degree in Engineering, Finance, Math, Computer or Data Science, or any related field of study, Full time MBA (Finance) will be an advantage

- Around 2 - 4 years of experience in valuation of equity securities. Interest in Financial analysis / investments

- Sound knowledge of Bloomberg database

- Nice to have - Matlab / Matlab programming, VBA / python / programming, Database / SQL

- Big Plus - Knowledge of Fixed Income / Basic derivatives, various Swaps, Bond DCF or Valuation knowledge / experience, Aladdin / Blackrock systems, Finastra-Summit
