Assistant Manager - Internal Audit - Automobile Trading Division - CA

The Client :

A Leading, well diversified Co, HQ in Oman.

The role is for the automobile trading division.

The Role :

Perform risk assessment and audit across functions and business units of the automobile division (eg) finance, operations, IT and HR. Basis the audit findings take actions to plug in gaps and drive improvements.

Key expectations from the role :

- Understand key auditable business processes within the business units and group functions.

- Review, conduct and identify control gaps and weaknesses in key business processes.

- Execute risk based financial & operational audits, by performing combination of internal control & substantive tests.

- Provide pragmatic recommendations to Senior Management for risk mitigation and control gap closures.

- Prepare, maintain IA methodology and KPI's are timely adhered to

- Gauging & reporting levels of risk within the auto business.

- Identify weakness in financial processes, recommend improvements.

- Draft audit reports in line with IIA standards.

- Liaise with management, recommend/ present IA findings

- Ensure strict compliance to company's policies, procedures, legislation and regulations.

The Person for the role :

- Chartered Accountant with about 5 to 8 years experience in audit and assurances in automobile industry.

- Well versed with adequate experience on working and auditing in ERP environment

- Broad understanding of financial and non-financial risks and mitigation planning and execution.
