Assistant Manager - Indirect Taxation - FMCG

- Analysing the Sales, Purchase and other data to ensure correctness of tax applicability and accounting.

- Ensure correct accounting of tax credit utilisation, reversal of tax credits, tax payments.

- Ensure tax balances as per accounting records matching with balances as per tax records.

- Ensure timely tax compliances like payment of taxes, filing of returns, reconciliation of tax credits, utilisation of E way- bills etc.

- Ensure timely filing of tax refunds.

- Reconciliation of tax credits basis GSTR 2A.

- Ensure timely preparation of various data require for tax assessments.

- Ensure timely filing of annual returns, completion of GST audit and submission of data require by authorities pursuant to audit.

- Ensure implementation of new tax provisions as well as implementation basis the position taken.

- Opening of tax codes.

- Co-ordination with IT team for SAP development & controls building.

- Interaction with the controllers and other teams for resolution of open issues.

- Interaction with the auditors and resolution of open items.

- Litigation - Replying to Show Cause Notices, appeals and appearing with tax authorities

- Tax Planning - Assisting in tax decision making by analyzing data and legal interpretations.
