Job Description: Assistant Manager/Deputy Manager - Indirect Taxation

- Preferred Candidates who has handled : ( Advisory, Compliance, Knowledge of GST, Excise Knowledge, Assessment & Notices, Showcause)

- To assist in compliance including drafting replies in Indirect Taxes matters (GST)for Cement Business.

- Keep updated on new developments, amendments in legislations, important judicial pronouncements with respect to GST. Preparing draft guidelines for Units with respect to above.

- Timely preparation of draft replies, Appeals and their filing.

- Co-ordinating and Collecting information from existing and proposed and upcoming number of Units for preparing MIS.

- Accountability-Indirect Tax To review new notifications and judgments and assist in preparation of guidelines as may be required.

- Preparing and/ or checking replies to Show Cause Notices, audit paras & Appeals.

- To assist in prepare replies to inquiries from Excise & Service Tax Department seeking information.To handle unit queries as entrusted.

- To interact with Consultants and Units on Indirect Tax Issues.To prepare consolidated Excise & Service Tax returns and other documents for filing when Company opts for LTU (Large Tax Payer Unit) concept. To prepare regular MIS on the SCNs etc.
