Sr. Executive/Asst. Manager, HSS Job Summary: Implementation of strategies to ensure continuous improvement in the areas of Safety. Qualification : B-Tech with Diploma in Industrial Safety from recognized Institute. Experience : Minimum 5-7 in HSS Area in Power Plant O&M Job Location: Rajpura, Punjab. 35-40 Kms from Chandigarh / Mohali. Job Responsibilities: Financial: 1. Adhere to the organizational procedures and budget approved by the management. 2. Responsible for HSS budgeting and control. Internal Process , Providing inputs for development of annual HSS improvement Plan 2. Implementation of Safety management plans, Contractor Safety Management guidelines and emergency response plan to comply with HSS requirements. 3. Conducting regular Safety Inspections/Audits, Occupational health surveys and other surveys for ensuring compliance against the Company and statutory standards. Monitoring the status of compliance regularly and verifying its effectiveness 4. Regular analysis of incidents, Hazards in order to prepare and implement plans for timely corrections. 5. Implementation of statutory compliances related to Factory Act like reporting of incidents, Testing of Tools and tackles and other relevant equipment, Safety committee meetings. 6. Responsible for carrying out incident investigations and monitor the compliance of CAPA in order to prevent re-occurrences. 7. Proactively identifying & assessing the risks and applying methodologies to minimize, monitor, and control the probability and impact of incidents. Customer: 1. Interacting with the line team in understanding their work-related issues and suggesting practical solutions while addressing the Health and Safety concerns. 2. Implementing training plans based on assessment of training needs to enhance and sustain safety awareness in employees 3. Interacting with workers on the shop floor through Programs for keeping the workplaces safe. 4. Imparting safety motivational programs for awareness among workforce and inculcating the safety culture
